Tennis for Two

On our romantic honeymoon in paradise we will play a game of tennis. The Buccaneer Hotel features six Plexipave courts and two Tedelgrass courts. Tennis magazine has called The Buccaneer "the best tennis courts in the Virgin Islands". If we need anything for our game, a fully-stocked pro-shop provides top-of-the-line equipment and stringing services.

Originally a Danish governor’s sugar plantation great house, this historic pink main hotel building of The Buccaneer sits atop a ridge with dramatic views in every direction. Our Great House Ocean View Room is located on the second-floor and boasts a king size bed with luscious bedding, a bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub and a terrace with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and Christiansted Harbor.

Your generous wedding gift allows us to indulge at The Mermaid on our honeymoon. Located beach side, we will choose from an extensive lunch menu of savory soups, crisp salads, grilled burgers, fresh fish, chicken, hot dogs, wraps, sandwiches, daily specials, decadent desserts and more. Our dining experience will be enhanced with a round of drinks from the full bar.
